Dinner at Park Jeong Soo's

Tonight Dion and I were invited to go to Jeong Soo's shop for some dinner. Jeong Soo, his wife Soo Jeong and daughter Kyoung Bin have been extremely kind and generous to us.
They own a restaurant in Omsa and are very busy running that. We have visited them at home and enjoyed their hospitality.

Soo Jeong cooking. She made us a really yummy dinner tonight. We were so happy and full afterwards. Shes a great cook.
They are very busy with phone orders. Soo Jeongs father is also in this photo helping them.
Out the back of the shop Soo Jeongs father flies a kite with Kyoung Bin. It was a good evening to fly it as it was windy.
The food goes into these boxes and delivered on motorbikes. All over Korea people deliver food this way as it is quick and efficient. Motorbikes are allowed to ride on the footpaths too.
Posing with one of the restaurant motor bikes.
Jeong Soo always friendly and smiling about to make a delivery.
Off into the night. They will be busy all night dropping off the food and then going back later to collect the dishes and cutlery.
Excellent night. We will be meeting one last time for dinner next week before saying goodbye.

Fun Sunday Hanging out in Daejeon

On Sunday I went into Daejeon with some Grade 3 Students. Lisa, Nicky and Bella on the 201 bus going to Daejeon near the Train Station.
This is at the underground mall with the spring display in the background. We just brought some juice to drink. Nicky, Bella and Lisa.
We had a really nice lunch upstairs. We all had cutlets and Bella and Nicky also had spaghetti.

After lunch we met up with Ashley and took this photo in the underground mall.

After getting Ashley we went to the singing room or Nori Bang. This was great fun and I especially enjoyed the Big Bang Songs. The girls are all really good singers and lots of fun.
This is me trying to sing Britney Spears "Hit me baby one more time" lol.
On the way home on the bus this kind man gave me a lollypop. This was a surprise and he was very nice but we couldn't really speak so Lisa interpreted.

Today was a joyous day and so much fun. It was perhaps one of the best days I have had in Korea relaxing. The girls are all so lovely and friendly. Maybe one day they might visit me in New Zealand.
Only 2 more weeks and we are back home. It has been a long and eventful year. Lots of challenges and learning about ourselves.
We are looking forward to coming home for awhile.
